I think we caught this at it's sweet spot. Cork broke but wine is perfectly balanced. Just a hint of cigar box but still lovely fruit and soft tannins. Our last bottle. :-( — 9 years ago
Out with Adrianne Haslet Davis and Katie Jenkins. We wanted a lighter red for the warm weather and this was perfect. Light berries. A tinge of tobacco. Etc etc. — 10 years ago
Sample, excellent value Chardonnay, crisp fruits and medium bodied mouthfeel with lightly buttery finish — 11 years ago
Amy (Jenkins) told us this is a great summer wine, at CostCo too. Alisha loved it — 12 years ago
A BTG offering at Angèle and what a delight. Pleasant Hill - aka JENKINS RANCH - is a proven Pinot Noir site in the as yet unofficial “Sebastopol Hills” area of Russian River Valley AVA. 2014 with 3-4 years of bottle time is bridging youthful juiciness with a flicker of aged character. Nice work — 6 years ago
I love this wine. Very bright Chardonnay, great with salad on Christmas Eve (K&M bought at winery on Monterey trip) 2011 — 10 years ago
Had with Tom Jenkins, loved this wine. — 10 years ago
Drinking beautiful now - deep aromas on nose with an elegance on the palate. — 10 years ago
Full body palate. Smooth and enjoyable. Sad this winery is no longer around — 12 years ago
The 2008 of this wine was better than the 2007 in my opinion and we drank it its perfect peek! A great BBQ wine to share with friends. Amazingly fruit forward with a lucious finish. I want more and I am sad this winery closed. Thank you Greg Jenkins for some great wines! — 12 years ago
Boysenberry grape juice — 9 years ago
Smooth easy drinking Pinot. — 9 years ago
Carignan is one of those varieties, like Merlot or Grenache, that really needs to be in the right place, it can often be so simple, but this one is a lesson on the tremendous depth that it can achieve, first vintage from a new producer/fellow back-to-the-lander, you can taste the sunshine, rock, and garrigue (chaparral for Americans). — 10 years ago
No harshness. Very light flavour — 11 years ago
Nose with plum, cherry, strawberry, and tannins. Extremely smooth with nutty berry flavor with a tobacco finish. Also a few tannins. Almost a perfect cab frank. One of the best tasted! — 12 years ago
James Forsyth
A mid to light weight Pinot that, despite its name, is feminine in character. Plenty of freshness with rose petals and raspberries. The artwork in the background is Mortimer and Jenkins by Swoon (2012) - the two having a (possibly play-) fight seemed brotherly. — 6 years ago
