Every vintage of Zin has a different name (symbolic of something during the growing season) with the story behind it on the back label. Glad you enjoyed it! The tradition started with our 1991 "Phoenix Vintage" Zinfandel when my grandfather lost everything in the Berkeley/Oakland firestorm and "rose out of the ashes."

Hi Becky - this Rosé was produced in the saignée style which concentrated the strawberry flavors. Our winemaker fermented it dry resulting in a crisp, well-balanced, fruity wine. So glad you enjoyed it and we greatly appreciate your support!
