One word. INSANE! I've heard all about Haber from @Shawn R and @Martin G Rivard and I'm more than pleased to say that their recommendations are totally spot on! Tonight was the Taste of Howell Mountain event in Dallas and the line-up was absurd. Aloft, Adamvs, Lamborn, Dunn, Outpost, O'Shaughnessy and many other rock stars. After tasting through many '13s and '14s, the '14 Haber Howell Mountain was the Wine of the night without a doubt. His '13 was great and when he said his '14 was excellent I thought it couldn't surpass it...it most definitely did. Buy this stuff up! The nose is out of this world...smoked meats, caramel, candied almonds. Jackpot! — 8 years ago
Very good! I would have never guessed this wine was 10 years old — 10 years ago
Haven't been able to find this bottle on the east coast but it is a GREAT Zin!! — 10 years ago
Delicious. Would do again all day long — 7 years ago
Heidi can make wine. Inky black in the glass with a purple rim. The nose is heavy with smoke, leather, barrel toast, tobacco, bay leaves, and briar berries. The palate is a controlled explosion of crushed black fruits, roasted meats, savory herbs, cigar tobacco, and rich earthy minerals. A mouth drying, lip smacking finish shows how much of a baby this wine is. Come back around 2025. Or drink this now, @Jody Scharf ! — 9 years ago
At 24 years young it still has bright red fruit, cocoa and cigar box on palate. Strong acidity means this one still has some life left. — 10 years ago
Perfectly balanced zin, bright up front but quickly smooths into oak. — 11 years ago
Rosé...fruity, dark pink, amazing. Not too dry. Not too sweet. Not too bitter. Nice balanced rose. — 12 years ago
A dry Zin ....outstanding Howell Mtn. Characteristics — 9 years ago
This was just a zin for aging. Wonderful Howell mountain fruit with a roundness. No acid or spice dominating just the perfect age on a perfect Zinfandel. Thanks to @Remi Barrett for this bottle! #zinfomaniacs @Brian Lamborn — 10 years ago
Love the back label! See previous for thoughts on wine. — 12 years ago

Subtle. Slight sweetness. I preferred the Lamborn, but everyone else preferred this. They don’t have Delectable....so my rating is all that matters! — 7 years ago
