An explosion of hoppy, sour and sweet, this beer is refreshing and fun and give the taste buds a lot to think about. — 9 years ago
Pizza, beer, and boxing. — 9 years ago
My go-to... if lagunitas ipa is offered, that’s what I’ll typically get. Perfect blend of hops to get a distinct flavor — 7 years ago
Clear yellow gold color, clean grapefruit nose, refreshing hoppy grapefruit & bready taste, this could masquerade as an IPA, very good! — 7 years ago
Just awesome — 8 years ago
Love this. Very flavorful — 8 years ago
I totally bought this for the label. Great stuff! — 9 years ago
3.9% ABV 42 IBU's
This dry and hoppy copper ale is packed full of some of our favorite Northwestern Hops from Perrault Farms (over 2 lbs. per barrel!), and copper-fied with some dark crystal malts to make this tropical, earthy, and stoooopidly slammable ale. Session Pale Ale!! Great beer — 9 years ago
Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed — 9 years ago
Clear yellowish amber with a white head. Sweet malt on the nose, citrus and a little herbal. A bit sweet on the palate too with sweet spices like cinnamon and caramel, some rice, yellow fruits and hops too. Long finish with a medium to full body. — 7 years ago
Good, not hoppy but smooth — 9 years ago
Lagunitas crushed it with this Red. Before I got into IPAs, ambers were my thing. This one is off the charts good. If you are a big Fat Tire fan, you may not appreciate the higher IBUs and ABV. If you are someone who likes both IPAs and Ambers, you're going to friggin love this. Makes me teary eyed to think this is a limited release and yet Buttweiper continues to exist. — 9 years ago
No cappuccino in this bottle. More like thick dark roasted Turkish coffee ( no sugar) stout. Very coffee forward stout. I thought it was great. — 9 years ago
Nice oat mouthfeel with hops and oat bitterness finish. Great beer from Lauganitus Brewing! — 9 years ago

This 2015 bottle lives up to the hype. Uneventful nose is followed by an extravagantly chewy mouthfeel. The sweet chocolate notes are perfectly balanced with the astringency of barrel and rye flavors. Barrel char, oak, white pepper, and nutmeg. This is one of the finest barrel aged stouts I’ve ever had. It lingers on the palate with smoke and leather like the finest whiskeys. I dare say this is the best expression of what High West whiskey has to offer. — 7 years ago
