Tastes like the vinho verde we had in the Algarve in Portugal. Crisp and refreshing- great with chicken or really good pork. — 9 years ago

Absolutely delightful Portuguese red wine tonight in the Algarve. Very surprising in the best possible way. — 7 years ago
This is an Arinto, not Viogner. And it makes all the difference. It's rich and oily and slightly oxidized. Almost a translucent bronze. — 8 years ago
Great wine from the Portuguese Algarve easily drinkable with steak, great flavour and full bodied definitely been stocking up on this. — 9 years ago
Tried many wines in Portugal and this was by far our favourite — 9 years ago

Portugal 2020 algarve — 5 years ago
Bought the 2017 whilst on holiday in the algarve at Lidl. Really enjoyed it and if it was available at this price in the UK would certainly buy lots more. Great with a carbonara and cheese plate. — 6 years ago
How come this baco hasn’t been rated in Delectable so far? Sublime! Tried 2013 vintage in end 2018. It looks like it has to be consumed in the next 24months max but still, what a surprise!!! — 7 years ago
Super dry and saline. Like drinking the ocean. Viognier, Arinto and Verdelho. — 8 years ago
Good 3/4 full body, nice collection of berries and cherries. What's not to like! Very surprised about low cost too. Mind you ...drinking this in Portugal makes a difference — 8 years ago
Surprisingly good - and by the way organic.
