Dark maroon with just a hint of brick on the periphery. Fig with an overpowering nose of black cherry, fig, menthol, tobacco, and licorice. Soft velvety tannins and full bodied. Young with lots of primary aromas of green fruit (apple, lime) and a slight peach aroma.
Mix in a wiff of plastic (think clare valley) some sea salty-minerality a crisp, young acidity dosed with a very slight sweetness makes this an excellent companion to food (anyone for ceviche?).
