What a beauty - slightly greenish yellow colored w/gorgeous aromas like citrus blossoms & white flowers, so fresh & clean, marine influence, some salinity & minerality but surprising delicate and aromatically forward. Chiseled on palate, bit silky, but nose translated palate. One of the more generous Spanish Albarinos I’ve ever had - reminded me of some riper CA offerings. — 7 months ago
Dark fruits, full bodied but soft tannins. Prominent oak but soft and well integrated. Paired great with spicy sausage rigatoni a la vodka. — 2 years ago
Baga normaal gesproken pas na 10jr te drinken. Deze gemaakt voor jong. Niepoort familie. Prachtige geparfumeerde geur. Doet denken aan Nebbiolo in de geur, smaak in line. — 7 months ago
30 mins after opening it woke up to be delicious — 2 years ago
Love Albariño in the summer. Has a nice grapefruit taste with a hint of pineapple. Nice acidity and minerals like sea air — 4 months ago

Read much more interesting than it was. I probably opened too soon
WA rating 93+ points "The 2021 MAIO5 is the old-vine cuvée from an ungrafted 90-year-old plot of Albariño on sandy granite soils and was kept in stainless steel for one year, the first six months of which was with the lees. This is fresh, tasty and age-worthy, and it has good ripeness, 13% alcohol and good acidity and minerality. It's sharp, clean, precise, tasty and long, vibrant and fresh. 3,000 bottles were filled in January 2023. (LG)" — 21 hours ago
