Drinking an excellent Sangiovese while eating good pizza is Tuscany la dolce vita. Good acidity, tobacco, dried cherry. I liked the 2004 just a bit better, though this is still a top shelf wine. The wine is actually too good for pizza but what the heck. — 8 years ago

I am generally a Moscato fan. The earlier reviewer commented that this had little depth after the first taste, and I agree with that. You get the sugary flavor, but none of the pine needles and honey of something little the La Spinetta. — 8 years ago

Hijt of dried black cherry, dark chocolate, hint of oxidation, lots of fresh leather aromas. Med p body, med p acid, med p tannin, fruit on forward but bitterness follows. Well balanced, long finish with concentrated red cherries. Delicious. — 8 years ago
