Crushable and really well made. Light tannin, a touch of earthy terroir, a flood of cherry coke and bramble. Delicious, quality wine from the Roussillon. — 5 years ago

A greenish-yellow, the '10 Maison Deux Montille Soeur et Frère Auxey-Duresses Chardonnay has scents of lime, peach and white flowers. The pure medium-bodied mid-palate is bone dry with citrus and metallic flavors. Sneaky long length. — 11 years ago

Can you ever have too many Burgundies to taste? Wonderful trade tasting. The Gros Frere et soeur wines don’t get additional sulphur so they seem older and wilder than many of the wines at the tasting. The Vougeot has the stuffing to balance the wildness. — 6 years ago
New discovery of this Bourgogne Rouge. Beautiful, elegant tart cherry & bright acidity. Whole cluster spiciness adds complexity & hits all the right notes with this album. Zuma is brilliant on many levels. It has a rustic sensibility, yet is loaded with lyrical depth and of course has Cortez the Killer. Kind of the elevated Bourgogne Rouge of Neil Records. — 7 years ago
