Previous bottle tasted a year ago in September 2024. Mid lemon in colour. Aromatics of struck match, white flowers, lemon and sea spray. Hasn’t got the delicious ripe fruit I am used to with Australian Chardonnay but it does have its charm and attraction in a more mineral restrained style. — 9 months ago

Very good everyday sparkling wine! — 5 years ago
Very rich with flavor. More flavor then the regular red ménage a trois. Both are great! — 8 years ago
Very easy drinking. Nice style that goes with lots of different types of food. — 10 years ago
Pristine. Best of this btl i've had. — 11 years ago
Used the Durand on the cork - soaked to the edge. Decanted for 2 hours.
This wine had some gaminess. Smooth. Fruit was a bit wild and overpowered by the savory flavors.
Paired well with the chicken skewers and onions. Needed complex flavors in the food to pair well.
Good but quite a bit below the Beaucastel — 8 months ago
White peach, tangerine, citrus acidity. Always good. — 8 months ago

Brioche, nuts, honey, and apples. I need more of this! #specialclub — 11 years ago
Clear, deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cassis, cedar, and graphite on the nose; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of blackberries, black cherries, eucalyptus, and wet gravel with a medium finish. This wine is intense and complex, but a little too tannic and bitter for the amount of fruit (it probably needs more age, or more time in the decanter). After 30 minutes in a decanter, this wine is much more balanced and well integrated. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 8 months ago
Super, mellow, oxidized, buttery white burgundy. — 8 months ago
We had the 2012 and it was fabulous. All the purity and grace of grand cru Chardonnay, with elegant depth from the honey and nut overtones that age brings. This was a wonderful experience. (Pro tip: Please don’t drink it too cold: you’ll miss so many of the flavors!) — 9 months ago
You’re going to have to just buy a bottle yourself and taste it to find out, peasant. (ok dark cherry forest floor that shit was good. I housed the whole bottle) — 6 years ago
Very smooth — 8 years ago
Paired nicely with smoked quail egg that was marinated with wine.

Fruit forward with a nice earthy, barn-y, fried herb backbone! Very lush and unapologetic, ten years more in the bottle should help it integrate. — 6 months ago
