Interesting nose...... Great attack Steely punch. Cherry raspberries currents. Long finish. Character! — 8 years ago
Delicious Chateauneuf du Pape; still fruity and aromatic despite the bottle age. Characteristically complex, well blended, and pleasurable in every way. Drank very nicely with Thanksgiving dinner. — 9 years ago
Muted nose. Gold color. Myer lemon curd. Smooth, little acidity. Layers of minerality on finish, with more lemon. Complex. — 9 years ago
Happy New Year!
Maybe the Michel Arnould old vines powerhouse is too serious for a lighthearted celebration, but it was just right for father and son wine geeks having New Years dinner alone together for the first time since 1999.

Del negociant nº1 a Puligny-Montrachet. Barrica nova 100% 12 mesos i el 100% en líes. No clarificat. Color palla més groguenc. Olor a pell i un punt vainilla. Eixut en boca, greixos (per les líes) i llarg regust de fusta. 111€ a Vinacoteca. — 8 years ago

Niiiccce. Huge limestone and contrasting canned pineapple and pear. Monster wine, lots of material here but still waiting to integrate. — 9 years ago
Medium nose with mature, slightly buttery nose. Medium to full body, rich fruit, fat, oily, aromatic and fresh acidity, long finnish. — 9 years ago
A great wine at a really affordable price. I was a little concerned about the 2011 vintage, but it didn't have that edge that is usually found with this vintage. — 10 years ago

Wednesday night's middle of the week wine is the 2010 Château Gressier Grand Poujeaux. This wine is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot and made in conjuction with Château Chasse-Spleen.
The nose reveals juicy dark fruit, black cherry, black raspberry, black plum, black currant, licorice, violet floral notes, chocolate and an earthiness.
The palate leads us to the same juicy dark fruits of black cherry, blackberry, black plum, black currant, herbal notes, licorice, violet florals, toasty oak and good earthy notes.
We have a full bodied medium + acidity, medium + gripping tannins that moves right into a long finish with lingering cherry notes straight through. Enjoy the down hill side of your week and continued safe travels. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 7 years ago
Really a very nice champagne. Soft but persistent bubbles. Complex nose with lots of yeast and nuts. Great mouthfeel, with lots of lemon. Finished long with good acid and hazelnuts. Delicious by the glass selection at Chasse et la Peche in Montreal. — 8 years ago
So different! Visit??

2001 vintage. Very correct Combettes and has aged nicely. I love Sauzet's Champ Canet and Combettes. Always nice to dodge the premox — 11 years ago
By itself it's alright, but with a spicy cured meat and some hard cheese this wine shines — 11 years ago
