Well balanced, crisp acidity, nice fruit flavors. Love the finish. Refreshing. — 8 years ago
Tannin rich and heady on the nose - this is a serious orange wine for red wine fans. — 9 years ago
On the nose it was bright and citrusy, on the pallet, some citrus, strawberry, watermelon, apple and vanilla. It left my mouth watering for more! — 10 years ago

The 2016s just came in so I had to rip one open. This might be the best SC ever and that is saying a lot. It’s certainly the best one for early drinking as it was singing with only a splash decant. A return to dark fruits, cedar, orange peel. The life of the party. — 7 years ago
Orange wine. Similar to rose as far as grape skin contact except this sits longer on the skins. Really well bodied and delicious — 9 years ago

Super interesting. Not as acidic and complex. Beautiful on the nose. Straddling between orange and white. — 8 months ago
Worried it might be a little natty for my taste at first but the funk blows off quickly to reveal a fragrant & expressive wine—orange peel, orange blossom, fennel pollen, pumpkin and a gorgeous salinity.
It’s a wine that really sings with seafood. Had it with Provençal Cod with olives and fennel.
Her winemaking talent really shines in the texture—particularly the finish. Definitely a lot of skin contact here, but the tannins are elegant and the finish is crisp, salty and refreshing —no graininess or bitterness.

Followed over a few days. Consistent profile.
From 375ml
Advanced caramel color with a tinge of orange. Thankfully, aromatics are as expected with orange marmalade, caramel and toffee. Viscous and weighty profile with low acidity. Faint notes of honey roasted nuts on the palate, but it’s mostly an orange marmalade, caramel and apricot dominated profile. Finish shows good length for what is considered an off-vintage, with the apricot and some bourbon vanilla. Good on its own. Drink now. — 5 months ago
