v2013. Pear and herbs on the nose. Tropical fruit, good body and length. Took a solid 30 minutes to open up. — 10 years ago
Aromas of fresh nectarine and peach. A subtle sweet wine. A favorite moscato. — 12 years ago
This excellent Sangiovese is unfiltered and has a maroon rather than ruby tint. It is slightly fuller of body than your typical Sangio and extremely polished, and worked well as a pairing with vegetable pasta dishes, with chicken sausage on the side. Plum and currant flavors prevail up front leading into a tart black licorice finish. — 10 years ago
