Terrible label. Surprisingly delicious — 9 years ago
I like it. But I'm comparing it to that terrible bottle of Chateau St. Jean I had last. — 9 years ago
First champers that's not terrible. Recommend. — 10 years ago
Really nice light but well-made Tuscan red. Terrible with salmon, but that ain't the wine's fault. — 10 years ago
Found one in my cellar. Reviews terrible, over the hill, etc. What were they thinking? This is spot on after 1 and a half hours of air. Still a bit tannic but still lots of dark fruit. A big surprise. Deep flavors, great balance. Too bad it was an orphan. — 10 years ago
Best Riesling I've had. Not terrible sweet. — 12 years ago
Straw gold, a little gasoline-y, chewy?
I’m terrible at this.
Anyway, a classy Spanish white that would be perfect to serve with snacks. — 8 years ago
2002... terrible year for the Spanish (All South Korea's fault) ... this was the exception. Big wine. Smith. Complex. 15 years old. Jeeze. — 9 years ago
Quintessential Aussie pinot. Deep ruby. Shy nose. Sweet, fruit forward style. Lots of plumb and red fruit on the palate. Lovely tannins and good acid balance so should age well. But nothing other than primary fruit; no funk or spice to bring complexity down the road. VG but not great. — 9 years ago
Honey, apricots, crisp, EXCELLENT. Wish I had more!!

This is made right next to chateau rayas and is about as close to that as you can get at a reasonable price. Benoit said the owner is a wife swapping ex-priest. Also the label is terrible, which likely makes the price lower. — 10 years ago
Drinkable, acidic, not terrible not special — 10 years ago
2008. Despite being a rough vintage complete with terrible smoke from wildfires Kistler has done a good job keeping the integrity of this wine. Juicy cherry, raspberry, cola nut, red flowers, pomegranate, baking spices, touch of herbal/menthol type notes. — 10 years ago
The most famous wine of the enfant terrible of spanish winemakers. Enjoy this great mencia. — 11 years ago
Awesome! My first wine from Garagiste that wasn't terrible. — 12 years ago
Not terrible for price. — 8 years ago
My favorite beer! — 8 years ago
Excellent Pinot from the Victorian High Country region. Tannins hit the front of the tongue. Oak, cherry, complex taste but straight out of the bottle was delicious to drink — 9 years ago

Apparently Al & Hazle before opening Toast.ed flirted with the idea of calling the restaurant Yeastie Boys. Which would probably have been a terrible move. This is delicious though. Bitter chocolate limes. — 9 years ago
The nose displayed a dark and fascinating bouquet of crushed blackberry, smoke, grilled meats, animal musk, mint leaf, and floral undergrowth. On the palate, I found fresh and vibrant textures offset by rich red fruits, granular minerality, hints of pepper, inner floral and earth tones. The finish was long, resonating on a mix of wild berries, spice and savory herbs. — 10 years ago
Quite tasty! Not the best, but certainly not terrible. Would definitely buy it! — 10 years ago
Terrible label, fab juice. — 10 years ago
Terrible picture but had to note this one. I'm trying to transition back into whites. This one is a porch pounder. Crisp apples, smooth finish, very little bite to it. Slight acidity keeps it bright. I'll take a case! — 12 years ago
Matthias Gassner
Accidentally found a lost bottle of this vintage 2004 in the basement - in a carton since about 2006. (Solid blaufränkisch no-question but not something you’d call age-worthy, also need to mention the terrible storage circumstances with constant temperature and humidity changes for more than 10 years!).
Definitely past its prime some years ago but still very interesting. Lacks fruit. Acidity i would say medium +, tannins very soft and integrated. But not really in balance, overall very overaged aroma profile. Still interesting. Violet, reminiscent of pepper and plum, some oak and leather. — 8 years ago
