After 2 most prominent Istrian malvasias it's time for the most famous Croatian grasevina-Krauthaker. Nice deep straw yellow with greenish rim. First impression on the nose is just wow! Intense apples and pears and underneath peach, grapefruit and some floral hints. The dominance of each fruity aspect changes with time. Easy drinking but not simple. Nice composition and balance with light salty minerality and a varietal typical bitter finish. Bites of CO2 help enhance the fresh side of this grasevina. 89 — 9 years ago

Old region 200 years ago they used to sell to the royal family if Spain and very popular in the city of Madrid over 65 different DO in Spain continental climate col winters and warm summers. Day 40 nights 20 poor sandy soils this means very good to stress the plants 65 hectares of Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet franc and planted in 1999 problems initially with merlot they work things very diligent in the vineyards. They have high density that makes younger vines yield less naturally. This wine is not Oakes 60% Syrah then merlot and Syrah with pv making up 5%. Pure fruit very fresh and clean very fresh and fruity with soft round tannins very easy to drink. Very good + — 12 years ago
Kompleksno, zanimljivo i zavodljivo, nadasve fino. I skupo. 155 kn za Chardonnay s Plesevice je dosta novaca i ja bi za te novce uvijek odabrao nesto drugo. Ipak, vinski znalci kunu se u ovo vino pa cu stoga ipak vjerovati da sam pio nesto sto moji nikotinski nepci ne mogu do kraja osvjestiti. — 12 years ago

When you hike in the Finger Lakes, you can easily think you're in Burgundy or Alsace. The topography is very close and the climate is just a little more continental. So the choice of grape varieties follows naturally. Pear, apple, and a little pineapple fruit come across in this wine. It has some stony and steely minerality, but less than typical for this region. There's a lot of vanilla and butter, with smoke and oak. These latter elements are too strong in my opinion. And the acidity is a little too weak. If that and the fruit were stronger this would be on par with Chablis. So it's a little off balance. But I enjoyed it very much with a salmon salad. — 9 years ago

Postoji psihografski termin "Chardonnay girls" koji označava mlade, uspješne i samosvjesne žene koje na svojim druženjima prakticiraju piti vino koje se uklapa u njihov image i percepciju samih sebe. Pobliže objašnjeno, to su Sex & City cure. Što bi značilo da je Chardonnay sorta koju vole žene. Točno? Hm... Chardonnay je k tome i najrasprostranjenija svjetska sorta vina a moram priznat da se i meni sviđa.A ovaj je božanstven. Tako fino izbalansirano, mekano i pitko vino, sa primjesama vanilije, mineralno... ma super. Zasjenilo je sve Chardonnaye koje sam probao i kojih se mogu sjetiti, Galićev mi je ostao u vrlo jasnom sjećanju i na mojoj je listi za ponovnu kupnju. Nije jeftin ali svakako vrijedi tih 10 EUR-a, u lijepoj boci, lijepe etikete. Topla preporuka ne samo za Chardonnay girls već i za nas ostale smrtnike, pa čak i Plavac boyse (to je izmišljeni termin, nema veze s nikakvom psihografijom). Mislim da ću istražiti sva Galićeva vina uskoro. — 12 years ago

Heidi Schrock 2014 Rosé Biscaya, Burgenland | 12% | From the warm continental (what they call Pannonian) climate of Neusiedlersee-Huggeland in Burgenland –Austria’s eastern most wine region pressed against the Hungarian frontier, this vintage seems to have dropped the St Laurent of previous vintages and is made of 40% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Pinot Noir although Heidi admits to using eight varieties in all –each in supporting roles. It’s a beautiful rosy red with a fragrant headful of umeboshi pickled plums of Japan for their tension of salty tart fruit and their fragrant shiso perilla leaf lift, but other fruit wafts up bright and fresh. Red currants and white cherries all carry over as well onto the palate –a scrumptious sip of tang and texture, brine and savor –for which it bears that saltwater taffy charm that I love about this rosé –in a watering-at-the-corners-of-the-mouth sort of way. It’s appealing in a way I’d never known before it –like feelings of fervor among inchoate lovers before which everything seemed so certain and after which the world seemed wide. Prepare yourself for a first kiss where red fruit orchards meet the sea. Food? Who needs food? …if I were to dream up a dish for this specifically it might involve a crispy rendered duck breast with a compote of those gamey black currants but you name it: pork chops, schnitzel, tempura, or citrus poached fish of the herring family.

Nakon jednog Chardonnaya i dvije Malvazije krenuli smo dalje. Venje! Uh, svi znaju, svi su čuli, svima se sviđa priča oko najboljeg vina na svijetu do 10 funti. Kako to dobro zvuči. Svjetski. Ne znam kakva su ostala vina do 10 funti na svijetu ali ovo je dobro. Jako dobro. Vinčina. Kompleksno i puno, alkoholno i raznovrsno. 70 kn je smiješna cijena za probati ovako nešto i vidjeti kako stari majstor Ivan Enjingi radi svoj posao. Ostavit ću još 3 butelje koju godinu da omekša i zaokruži se. Traži neku hranu, dobru i botatu. Vino koje nam je u novogodišnjem vinskom maratonu podiglo raspoloženje.
