A bit funky on the nose a bit of animal barnyard notes to the dark cherry and currant berry fruit Dave Lattin is the winemaker and has been here since 1998 before that he was at acacia before this. A well balanced wine with a nice spice and mocha notes through the finish. Finish 35+ — 10 years ago

Solid but unspectacular. I doubt this will get any better than it is. Syrah/cabernet sauvignon blend. The nose is all cabernet, but it's all syrah in the mouth. Blueberry notes, still tannic. The parts are good, but the whole doesn't quite get there. — 8 years ago
