Need to be standing up 24 hours before opening to let all sediments settle, and decant before drinking - Pure and reminiscent, reflecting the genius of Ales Kristancic - Spicy, the wine is dry, elegant, bitterish (the grape skins disintegrated and remained in the wine) and youthful. Grape notes on the nose are overcome by a fine note of wood.
Plenty of character and a fine, long aftertaste.

Absolutely loved this wine while tasting on recent trip to Slovenia. Opened one of 3 bottles we brought home. Initially very unremarkable, ultimately opened up after 60 minutes or so but wouldn't buy again. Must have been vacation euphoria. — 13 days ago
