Excellent Pinot. The Kosta Browne team nailed it — 8 years ago
Tony Cartlidge & Glen Browne began their wine venture in 1980 to build a winery from scratch. Without enough money to buy an estate they decided to source the best farmed grapes and make wine in their garage winery. Aromas of sweet tropical fruits and citrus notes. Flavors of apple, peach and cinnamon spice with lively acidity on well balanced frame. Lingering finish ending with citrus mineral notes. Tremendous value. — 8 years ago
Took a lot of coaxing but finally opened up to some nice spice and herbaceous notes. Not green but also not overly fruity. 2012 vintage on Feb 14,2016

Drinkable already. On the big dark side of pinot. Beautiful nose and mouthfeel. Great long finish. — 10 years ago
Terrific at the open, silky smooth texture and very round and balanced with a nice long finish. Kosta Brown's elegant touch shows in the structure of this big subtly jammy syrah. Too bad there's probably no '04's available but I'm loving this wine. — 11 years ago
Really good. Matt liked also — 12 years ago

Balanced with Big fruit...not jammy...really well made Pinot...a joy to drink — 9 years ago
Blackberry, raspberry, earth and Asian spice — 10 years ago
A masterful Wallenda balance between fruit, tannin and oak … prominent dark berry fruit without being overly forward. Not big in body, but deep and long on taste. Aging really well. Sold out now, but was $40 when released. — 10 years ago
Really good!! Soft, very dry a little spicy — 12 years ago
Really nice mouth feel and flavor. Didn’t have food to have with it but I’d bet it would be fabulous with steak or lamb. $33 on sale for $29 - had at hone tasting — 7 years ago
Happy birthday to me! Well, to Mrs Feyereisen as well. Celebrating tonight before heading overseas for 10 days and what a bottle this was. Kosta Browne is always special but this may have been my favorite - cola and cherry notes ride along a finish that sails on for at least a minute. Lucky to have snagged a handful of these last summer. Cheers all! — 8 years ago
Probably my fav Pinot this year. Heaps do cranberries, light and with an amazing smell — 10 years ago
Named for the wives of Dan Kosta and Emeril Lagasse, this Pinot is not readily available, yet quite enjoyable with the bacon wrapped Pork tenderloin at Mayacama. — 10 years ago
This merlot almost has a Cabernet flavor but isn't as dry. Really liked it. — 12 years ago

This is Dan Kosta (Kosta Brown) new label. It’s a good example of Sonoma with raspberry and cherry tones with a brightness and acidity that work great with our spicy miso salmon. — 5 years ago
