A great, very unique take on sweet vermouth. Extremely well balanced and light. Love the fruit, the cherry notes are subtle yet uber fresh. On the rocks now but oh how this will be perfect in a manhattan. #perfectmanhattan @Steve Matthiasson @Jill Klein Matthiasson — 9 years ago

Yum! Drank this on the recommendation of our Safari Camp Manager, Brett and it was incredible. Big, bold, fruity wine that held up really well to the local peppered venison (aka - Kudu) — 9 years ago

Mia Klein knocked this out of the park!
#howellmountain fruit at its best, a superb expression of terroir in Napa which to me is usually oversold (and over-oaked). #miaklein #cimarossa #rivadiponente
Vivid red currants, cassis, a touch of mint and graphite, the palate is juicy, loaded with perfect balance, acidity and ripe, firm tannins that have started to mellow. This is from the western facing terraced slope of the property and was my favorite of the tasting way back in 2012. The cooler effect of a western exposure seems perfect in this vintage. — 8 years ago
Tuhti ja tummasävyinen tuoksu. Herukkaa, savua ja mustetta. Maku on paksu ja suunmyötäinen, täynnä tummaa marjaa, tervaa ja kevyesti tammea. — 8 years ago
It's a little young still but is very soft and supple. It's luscious on the palate with a smooth finish. — 9 years ago

Very nice indeed - for under £12, I think this represents good value for money. One of the nicer wines I've had from naked wines. — 7 years ago
2013 Charles Smith Klein Vyd Bordeaux blend
This is crazy good. one of the most delicious young can based wines i have had from WA. lots of fruit and concentration with good complexity. i have a few more bottles that i can't wait to taste in 4-6 years. this has the stuffing to last 15 easy but it won't need anything like that to reach greatness. run don't walk to find some. — 8 years ago

Deep garnet in color. Nose has started to wear off, very light charcoal and earthy tones. There are some undertones of black fruit. Starts off earthy and lots of dark fruits like plums on the palate. Additionally the palate was slightly toasty. Moderate tannins (5.5/10) and moderate body. Finish was long and lingered. Not surprised by the power of this wine even after 10 years and the dark fruits on the palate. A little disappointed by the nose but still a delicious wine. After tasting this we will be making a stop by Klein Constantia tomorrow! — 9 years ago
Eat your heart out Bordeaux. Will stand up to any French Sauv Blanc. Fresh ocean and oysters in the nose. Great color, lingering acidity. — 9 years ago

Second of the Sauvignon Blancs at Klein Constantia.
Light greenish yellow with floral, lemon grass and green notes on the nose. High acidity (7/10) with a medium body. Granny smith apples on the palate with some lemon zest. Medium plus finish with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Drink till 2022.
