Awesome blend! $30 wine but tastes like a $60 wine. — 8 years ago
Opened at 2pm and I was scared when I sipped it to make sure the bottle was ok. It was wound tight and I was afraid that it would not show well for dinner. 8 hours later it was PERFECT. It was in full stride and amazed everyone. My 1st Maybach!!! Baby., where have you been all my life!! 😍🍷🍷🍷🍷😍.
This was the runner up WOTN since we have to respect the 61 Musigny and how incredibly well structured it has to be to stand up after 55 years & show as impeccably as it did. However, This is the 2nd place finisher by only .0000000001 point!!!! Lol — 9 years ago

I'm a big fan of Petite Sirah and have been on a bit of a mission to find my favorite. While journey isn't over I have found a new front runner. Not quite full bodied and nice bouquet and best of it taste fantastic.
A great bottle share with someone special. — 10 years ago
Gros Ventre continues to be one of my fave. Thanks for the intro @Dan. Bit bigger than the Black Kite stony terrace. And beautiful. — 11 years ago
Very very good. Not too fruity. I like this a lot. — 11 years ago
Cherries, oak, cedar, good acid, not so tannic. At Runner and Stone. — 8 years ago
@David A Lentine @Gina Sabean @Christine It was a unanimous decision., this was the WIne Of The Night! Simply amazing! Structure, Elegance and a strikingly long finish and mouthfeel. We had multiple glasses on the table and Everyone was revisiting the Morlet to compare. There was a depth and broadness in this wine that just surpassed the amazing "runner up". Truly no rough edges. My only minute drawback was the nose. It was not as pronounced and evident as the Amazing Kenzo that we enjoyed. More to follow shortly in that review! — 9 years ago

Modern style, but true to 2010: structured, taut and high-toned. Cabernet Sauvignon dominant; cigar box & cassis. Tannic. A long-distance runner. #pessacleognan #bordeaux #cabernetsauvignon — 7 years ago
