A smooth pear noted nice bubbly. Purchased at Costco would definitely get again. Celebrating the end of the semester, beginning of sabbatical and shared with Kir visiting the Erhard Estate. — 8 years ago
Nice blend!!! Pepper aroma very smooth and soft tannins! Spicy wine.... — 8 years ago
A light and crispy sparkler. Second glass I had a Kir Royale. Chambord-rasberry! — 9 years ago
Best discovery of a fun, unsophisticated sparkler since the first time I had Moscato d'Asti. Sweet cherries, kir, and smiles all around. — 9 years ago
Delicious blend! — 9 years ago
Delicioys rose drank at bistros lepic. A little off dry like a kir almost. Delicious. — 9 years ago
Reminiscent of Kir Royale with a little floral aroma - really opens up when decanted — 10 years ago
Deep rich fully-bodied red. Oak, kir, and berries rise to greet. Starts sharp, with punching acidity and strong astringency. The mouthfeel opens up by mid palate, turning comfortably velvety and revealing cassis, figs, stale coffee and thick perfumed hookah smoke. The finish has a piney quality (like licking untreated wood), and a touch of mint that counters a yummy and persistent black cherry background. The two dimensionality of the tannins is what keeps this from really shining. Great value, good cab. — 11 years ago
Love this wine! A little Kir is in order! #aligote #calerawines #winemakerswine — 11 years ago
Kir Royale, always reminds my wife and I of drinks at The Canny Mans in Edinburgh.....:-) — 7 years ago
Bright, lively Summer wine! Tropical fruit, mineral / slate, acid - wonderful in a kir or with fatty chicken or fish dishes. — 8 years ago
Fresh, crunchy red fruit, medium on the palate, yet with a tannic grip and with bright, juicy acidity. Highly drinkable. — 8 years ago
Very dry full body wine- salty pig — 9 years ago
Prefect on a hot summer day — 9 years ago
Sunday wine-down with a favorite Cab (with your typical Bordeaux blending grapes to smooth it out). The first good Cabernet I ever tasted when first learning about wine (association is such a powerful thing). This is a very good vintage. Almost sweet, in the very best of ways. It almost smells like a Kir Royale. You could definitely wait, but for you impatient people like me, try it - you won't be disappointed... — 9 years ago
Not that familiar with Greek wines. So it was a nice surprise to taste this Diaporos. Earthy and full as good as any Italian Barolo I've had. — 10 years ago
This is the first vintage of Kallisti oak fermented & barrelled, by Yianni Boutari & Yanni Voyatzi (currently the head Oenologist of Boutari). Slightly oxidative complex nose, with honey, salinity, roasted nuts, touch of waxy nose, with a medium body fascinating & delish... and with a vibrant acidity. Boutaris at least in Naoussa & Santorini has crafted some jewels, that are still alive & kicking even after 20-30 years.
The last one I've tasted with Yiannis Voyatzis 2 years ago at two4eight after decanting it 1 hour after Yannis advice. THANK YOU YIANNI & YANNI! — 10 years ago
Nice on a summer day or as Kir with pomelo liquor! — 11 years ago
Wow. Amazing Aligoté, not to be wasted on a Kir. Could pose as good chardonnay as well. And perfect match for the ceviche. — 12 years ago
Lovely sweet and fruity Greek rose with meze / salad @ greek wine and meze night — 7 years ago
Sour cherries. Still quite tannic. Curious how it will be in another year or two. — 7 years ago
Supremely drinkable. All day really. — 9 years ago
Jumping out of the bottle. Aromas of lavender kir and cassis. Mouth filling flavors of black fruit, anise, vanilla with plenty of tannins to hang everything on. — 9 years ago
Enjoying some quality time with sister and boyfriend. They are such lushes. Yummy wine. Not too sweet but sweet. Love this local NM wine. — 10 years ago
Mixes with Creme de Casis de Dijon for a lovely kir. Rating follows serving this as a kir. Merry Christmas! — 10 years ago
Great choice with halibut — 11 years ago
This just gets better with every try. Up front masses of kir combine with classic NZ notes of soy sauce and Asian spices. The weight is medium-full, velvety tannins all well integrated. A long finish with surprisingly deep notes along the purple fruit end of things, bigger than a typical Pinot but with excellent varietal character and it's own unique qualities. A definite wine of the year candidate. — 11 years ago

Terrific, but sadly marred by a bad cork, making it difficult to access. Thanksgiving wine. — 6 years ago
