great with chicken khao soi or other spicy Thai. great spontaneous find. green apple and floral. sweet but mellow. — 10 years ago
Crisp and refreshing but still have great structure. Light toast, brioche, from batonage. Viognier gives it a light lemongrass note. Paired very nicely with lightly curried green pea soup. — 10 years ago
2007. Very very solid and balanced Rhone. It actually goes with the spicy food of Kin Khao, which, to me, is surprising. Perfect drinking window. — 10 years ago

Pepper, spices, smoky, coffee , chocolate. Medium long finish — 8 years ago
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Syrah, 100% new Fr&Am oak
Red> purple. Age shows on the rim w/ receding color.
The bouquet is a show stopper! A complex array of animalistic charm intermingling w/ intense dose of cassis, blackberry, and dapper new oak spice.
Full bodied (14.5avb), high tannin, med high acidity. Game, pretty soil tone, meaty, new leather, cedar with a hint of gun powder and coffee grind. The fruit profile is still very much present. Last minutes.
Amazing bottle. Will age forever. 93+ — 9 years ago
Sensory overload. Bury your nose in this, after it has been open for awhile. Like getting run over by Khao San Road. Agree with others, super long. This was my 2nd bottle - so much better this time around, as the last was shy and floral, vs the exoticism of this one. Delicious. — 10 years ago

Honeysuckle, homemade mead, plastic, chalk, silky, lemon yoghurt, medium sweet, cloudy, medium+ acid. Great with food paired well with: gaeng hang lay, khao soi, chocolate espresso mousse, sourdough/cheddar/caramelized onions/prosciutto — 10 years ago
