Starts out with what seems like brett to the nose then opens up with nice “sweetness”. Missing a third dimension but performs well in two at 23 years. — 2 years ago
Fruity and Smokey on the nose and a nice buttery finish. — 3 years ago
Awesome!!! Great with and without food. — 5 years ago
Classic. Great character, good depth, clean finish — 6 years ago
Probably my favorite all-around wine to drink. Well balanced. Smells swampy, has a little spice at the end and nice round tang to it. — 6 years ago
Would get this again. Wow — 8 years ago
Starts off with jam then a nice nudge of Oak in the mid-palate, finishes with long-lasting Brown Estate comfort. — 11 years ago
Delicious fruity Pinot Noir with Pat’s spaghetti ($30) at a wonderful family dinner. — 2 years ago
Big bold dark fruits plums and blackberries up front. Bold but creamy. Undertones of chocolate and tannins. Long and lush. Layers and complex. — 2 years ago
Down the middle. Smooth but lacking any unique punch. Similar in price to Ridge Geyserville, I would buy the Ridge if made to choose — 2 years ago

Still got it! Fantastic balance between lingering primary red fruits and full-on tertiary goodness: pomegranate, dried cherry, dried cranberry, mushroom, sage... if you got it, drink it! — 4 years ago
Very rich but very good — 5 years ago
Interesting profile: dried cherries, granny smith, cedar box, with a hint of a big red wine (AUS Shiraz, etc.). Not a lot of carbonation, would have liked to have opened a bottle a year ago to see what role aging has played (bottled 1/16/15). — 6 years ago
Excellent blend I had one from Napa many flavors and smooth silky finish. — 8 years ago
Solid, good food wine, could be outstanding in a couple years — 8 years ago
Very nice for the price. Dry red fruits forward with cherry and plum flavors. Earthy qualities with smoke and leather. Well balanced — 2 years ago
Reflects its sand terroir. Cherry, dry (not overly fruity). Opens up well with air. — 2 years ago
Black Cherry and Blackberry flavors from the Cabernet Sauvignon pair with the vanilla, brown sugar and toasty oak of the bourbon barrel aging to produce some pretty good yum!! — 3 years ago
Mmm. . . The family picked this up at a tasting at our new favorite butcher shop. More on the sweet side for a pinot but still flavorful. Hmmm may have to check my Napster for an accompanying Zac Brown hit for ambience. — 5 years ago
Berries. Lots of berries — 6 years ago
One of my first wines in South Africa 🇿🇦👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 — 6 years ago
