Super structured, complex, ash on the nose, buttery. Awesome. Great contrast on the other end of the spectrum from the Pierre Morey Mersault. — 12 years ago

Imperial (6L) of 1985 Le Pin Pomerol. K/JW Christmas dinner at Nobu. All large format wines. This was such a treat from K- one of only 10 made in this format that year. Amazing. More mineral and earth than the Barolo before it. But still balanced and amazing. — 12 years ago

3L 2004 Louis Jadot Bienvenues-Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru. K/JW Christmas dinner at Nobu. All large format wines. This was one of three whites we started with. This was our favorite of the three. Just perfectly balanced. The 2004 Bouchard Montrachet was ashy and buttery and rich. The 2004 Pierre Morey was pretty acidic, so the contrast was awesome. — 12 years ago
