Good vintage despite the early oxidative tendencies of the whites. This one sure showed that, but it still had bright structure and that full Combettes texture. Solid wine. — 12 years ago
Second bottle: Not at all oxidative. Green apples, pineapples, honey mustard, caramelized sugar, asparagus, & much more. Beautiful clean chalk under it all. Open for two hours and still so lively. So damn good.
