Quel beau vin....un vrai de vrai von de bouffe...j adore ce jus! — 4 years ago
Absolutely wonderful wine. Nice one to snag from a recent Manhattan Wine sale. Decanted 3+ hours, surprisingly accessible at this stage. Somewhat reticent on the nose, even after the decant. But so nice on the palate - perfect body, lots of red fruit, crunchy tart cherry, excellent acidity that hits very nicely in the mid to late palate that brings good zip. Tannins are there and ever so slightly chunky but doesn’t get in the way at all. Perfect with some simple roast chicken with mushrooms cooked in the chicken fat and jus. — 4 years ago
Pur bonheur beau jus fraîcheur et finesse — 5 years ago
.a little better than the last bottle...nose open on red fruits and white spices. In the mouth acidity is medium high, with a good amount of red fruits with good concentration on the attack but falls off a little too fast. Overall a well made inexpensive red burgundy....gave 1 pt extra for its price. — 6 years ago
Bright light purple dress. Pure explosive nose on fruits (red and black) and flowers, typical of carbonic maceration. In mouth the first is light, airy, confirming the nose; carried by a beautiful necessary freshness balancing the little terroir extraction. A modern, "natural" wine, on the fruits at first fond that does not prevent a certain complexity from expressing itself on a peppery and mineral finish. A very beautiful juice to drink from the aperitif, which blindly could pass for a rosé.
— 3 years ago
A wine as bubbly as it’s label. It’s the friend that puts you in a good mood simply because you’re going to hang out, and you haven’t even met up yet.
Low alcohol and easy to sip or chug, no party fouls included. It’s not low on flavor—pineapple and juicy Granny Smith, a little bit of butter bread, and some Haribo peachy-o-yeses. Don’t let the sweet scare you, let it warm up a little bit from its chill chill mega chill and it smooths out like a summer sunset. — 4 years ago

Imagine a blueberry blintz, and then smell this wine...the nose will trick you into eating dessert! But, the taste and finish are far from sweet. This is a perfectly ripe, delicately balanced Pinot with a gorgeous long lasting finish. — 6 years ago

Dusty cherries, plum, smoke and cellar notes evolve to aromas of balsamic, tobacco and anise. Touches of rose pedal and tar as well. Tart cherry pie fruit with plum, strawberry and cranberry on the palate. Chalk and rusty nail add depth. Finishes with elegance and shining acidity. Tannins are not undersold, however. In a beautiful place now, but no rush. Really enjoyed the evolution in the glass. Pair with cedar smoked salmon or truffle pasta. — 6 years ago
