1999 vintage.Amazing Sangiovese made by legendary Heidi Barett. If I read well between the lines in Kelly A White's fantastic book this should be the last Sangiovese vintage produced by La Sirena before their Sangiovese source disappeared. This really smells like a top-notch Tuscan wine and it keeps on growing in the glass suggesting it is not at all at the end of its evolution. Impressive — 8 years ago
— 9 years ago
Really good Friday night with sushi. Night before snowstorm where we celebrated Christmas with Hanna and Layla — 9 years ago
Very subtle. A big but soft bouquet of apricot and strawberry. Taste is earthy with rich minerals and very soft pepper on the finish. It's too young right now - will get better. — 10 years ago

Blackberry, plum, black pepper, earthy minerality, vanilla.
Very high but ripe tannins, not so fruit forward - more spice centered & fleshy, earthy (loamy soil), higher but well integrated acidity, high but fine acidity, well balanced, good lenght.
Drinks very well now but still has potential for another good 10 years. — 8 years ago
Beautiful Sauvignon Blanc. Not like everything else and that's a good thing. — 9 years ago
The wine Juliana gave me on a beautiful spring day when the pollen was everywhere! Lovely, refreshing but not tart — 9 years ago
Loved the clean taste of this SV which I normally don't drink. This I would order. — 10 years ago

, perfumed nose but not up to par with Juliana Vineyard of years past.
Once I opened it I thought wow this is going to be great, no cat urine! But there is a sour pucker finish to it that doesn't do it for me, maybe others will like it more than I did, eagerly waiting for other reviews — 8 years ago

Light but earthy. With Juliana & Ali — 9 years ago
Surprising how similar it is to a great Provence Rose. Hard to find this style from a US producer. Dry, mineral and peach flavors, great acidity. — 10 years ago

Young, big, bold. My daughter Juliana holding bottle, she also is young and bold. — 7 years ago
