This did NOT suck! Luscious red and blue fruit, lavender essence, brilliant energy/acidity, some exotic spicyness dissolving into some tonal smoky minerality. Moderately long finish. I was not familiar with this producer but let the somm (at a restaurant with JB chops) guide me to something that made wonderful music with a brilliant pork collar feast. 100% Carignan...perhaps my first from Chile. And still a baby...should be even more fantastic in the 2020's. — 7 years ago

Serious berry. Almost like drinking jam. — 10 years ago
Very interesting, woody, pleasant wine. Really enjoyable. Maintains both a sweet grape flavor as well as a woody dryness throughout. Gets cooler and smooth over the tongue in the evolution. Enjoyable aftertaste. — 11 years ago
Soft like Chileans like it but with noticeable structure and bright red fruits. We'll made wine! — 6 years ago
Tart, dry. Actually decent — 7 years ago

Shishito peppers, citrus and minerals. Really fantastic stuff. — 8 years ago
Damn Daniel, back at it with the Señor de Lesmos 2010 Crianza! Paired with pan seared redfish and risotto, which was a mistake since I had albariño in the fridge! Still very enjoyable. — 8 years ago
Bright fruit. Good acidity and tannin. Long time since I liked a Spanish wine this much. Not sure where it came from. — 8 years ago
Nice. Good body. A little acidic

One of my favorite in low prices wines. — 6 years ago
Light nose of floral and fruit. Initially taste of cherry finishing more like currant. Great with cheese plate before a main dish. — 7 years ago
Lätt men fullt, liten aning pepprighet i eftersmaken. Riktigt gott! — 8 years ago
Full body with a peppery after taste — 8 years ago
$20 for this $40 wine is a joke! I feel like I'm stealing. It feels so wrong but tastes so right. Pair with a gamey bolognese and buckle up. I recommend decanting or aerating. Can age 5 more years no sweat. — 8 years ago
An absolutely fantastic offerring from Juan and company at Realm. Their merlot-driven cuvee with the rest cab franc, cabernet, and petite verdot, this wine boasts increbile fruit and depth of flavor. Sweet, ripe tannins and a long finish that both suggest many years of life, this is easily the best version of The Tempest that I've ever had (and I've tried every vintage of this wine). Just terrific. — 8 years ago

A Monastrell from Jumilla which I always enjoy. 18 months in oak. Very hot and dry aromas in the nose, sour red fruits, Black Forest berries, handful of nuts, jam. Very nice acidity and tannins, could still wait couple of years and age beautifully — 6 years ago
