Very nice Pinot, more traditional than modern but with some lightly noticeable oak influence, good fruit, balance and acidity. — 8 years ago

Delicious, ripe and rounded. Very impressed by this Austrian blend. Shows touches of Italian earthiness. — 8 years ago
Special bottle for a special occasion. Powerfully structured with gorgeous high-toned dark red fruits. Still very young. Not a bottling we imported but luckily was gifted by the winemaker. Thanks Hannes!! #thermenregion #pinotnoir #austria — 9 years ago
Powerful expression of what this grape can be. Vineyards from 1956/58. Super strong and present — 11 years ago
Hints of lime peel, very nicely balanced acidity, and some minerality. Good unctuous finish. Very solid structure. — 8 years ago
Sweet Gewurtz, almost too sweet. Smooth easy drinking with that mossy slightly green taste that says Gewurtz to me. Yummy but not my fav — 8 years ago
Amber and orange in the glass. Nose is a tad shy or mute, but on the palate this very, very tasty. Lovely nuances of apple syrup and grilled peaches, unctuous and suave. And although it lacks the laserlike focus and penetration that Riesling TBAs often show, it has a wonderful freshness and is dangerously drinkable. Good stuff!

2007...pretty intense stuff! Lots of depth and a big long finish — 9 years ago
This 2008 turned out to be a perfect partner with Brussels sprouts (it was the Benton's bacon that brought them together). A seductive wine to say the least, lending additional credence to the idea that Austria is one if the world's great sources for Pinot Noir. — 10 years ago

Well balanced. Semi dry. Very floral. Like rose water. Holy rose water. Bought this at the ranch winery. Like sitting in your German grandmothers living room. — 7 years ago
