It's no secret that we love Jessup Cellars. I believe they have the friendliest tasting room in Napa, and it's even better that the wines are excellent. Their cab franc is a rarity, but unbelievably smooth. No traces of green pepper on the nose or tongue like many cab francs have. Very earthy. Lots of plums as well. — 8 years ago
Dark ruby color. Figs with black berries on palate. Medium to full body.Soft velvety tannins with prolonged finish — 8 years ago

2009 Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley, Jessup Cellars — 11 years ago
Death, taxes, and my enjoyment of Jessup Cellars wine. 3 things that are guaranteed in this life. Are they the best wines you'll ever have? No. Are they consistently putting out great wine across multiple varietals? Absolutely.
This was my first Yolo County Petite Sirah from them and talk about bold and jammy. Almost port like initially. Tons of juicy flavors up front on the nose and all over your tongue. Big blue fruit, tart cherries, vanilla. This really calmed down and became velvet like on day two. Smooth tannins. Another winner from Jessup. — 8 years ago

Mark and Kandice Jessup make this wine and this brand amazing due to their history making great wines in Napa (Opus One), and due to their gracious hospitality. If you ever get the chance to visit their home and taste their collection, you will understand their commitment to making a high quality product and brand. Amazing hosts. — 9 years ago

Mark Jessup made it, that says it all. 2012 Coombsville Cab. It's not "celebration" but not far from it. Small vineyard production. Dark fruit, chocolate, soft tannins...easy drinking now or keep it down for a few years- if you have that much self control! — 7 years ago
