Has some whiskers on it....but it’s good — 6 years ago
So much for the myth that Beaujolais doesn't hold up over time. This 2009 is vibrant with deep red fruit, soft tannins and we'l-balanced acidity. Forest floor and wild raspberry are in the mix. Long on the palate, a beautiful wine with another few years ahead though irresistible now — 7 years ago

Nice #wine, was first Grüner I've had from Marlborough. Nice herbaceousness, lively citrus and flowers. I'd like it with pizza... — 9 years ago

In a restaurant last night and saw this on the wine list. In 1989, Jess Jackson acquired the Zellerbach winery and renamed it in honor of his late father, Jess Stonestreet Jackson. Aromas of red/black fruits with citrus notes and gentle spice. On the palate cherry and blackberry flavors, vanilla spice with currant tones. Fine soft tannins, great balance on lingering finish ending with oak and cacao. Great value, good now and will cellar well. Opened up nicely in about 45 minutes. — 6 years ago

One of my absolute favorite new beverages this year - a Brut, from Normandy, made from apples. The nose comes across like the inner peel of a Honey Crisp but goes brilliantly and seductively dry on first kiss, then wet on your lips going deep and French as it lingers and meanders around your mouth with its electric effervescence bringing you to a more attentive state, while romancing you into its full embrace, as you beg it not to stop, and, at only 5% alcohol, you will break a slightly sideways smile, lick your lips, lay back and go all the f.....g way... "Roll another one, just like the other one..." 😎 It's cool, it's Christmas🎄 Check it out! — 8 years ago

A great example of amontillado. On the nose Caramelized pears, white smoke, soy, brine, pretzel based autolytic notes, toast and touch of milk chocolate. The palate mimics the nose with pronounced notes of brine and sea salt. An oily texture and a long finish. — 10 years ago

Agree with the other comments, a really beautiful Rose reminiscent of a great Provance. — 6 years ago
Heavy dose of lemon curd in a gooseberry reduction! Fresh-cut lime, quince, grapefruit and Meyer lemon. Green apple, Anjou pear, and dill aromas. White grapefruit, lemon, lemon verbena, tangerine, lime and green apple. Amazing Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Why would you drink any other? #JulesTaylor #marlborough #kiwisavblanc #sauvignonblancday #whitewinechick #whitewines #newzealandsauvignonblanc — 7 years ago
