Super tasting with Jeremy. Half bottle! — 4 years ago
1985 vintage. This was the first vintage for Jeremy Bull ( who moved from Taylor's) and as I tasted it young many times, I considered it a sleeper of the vintage (with Fonseca being the superstar). And it surely does not disappoint now at almost 4 decades old. Solid colour. Still lots of black fruit in the nose and the mouth, dark chocolate and spices with impeccable balance and great length. You can still find this in Portugal at a fraction of the price of the big boys. Highly recommended. — a year ago
Virtual tasting sponsored by Sage Society with Jeremy Seysses of Triennes and Dujac. My first virtual tasting. Really fun and interesting. Wine was well balanced with nice acidity, ginger, red fruit., light bodied. We also tried the Viognier, which was linear and precise, and the Saint August’s Cab-Syrah blend, which was a bit reduced but opened up in glass. — 4 years ago
