Windy Wine - Peanut Butter & Jelly! 😋🍇 — 8 years ago
Sour funk but a sweetness from the fruit. Almost smells like Alsace Pinot Gris but super light on the palate. Good bubbles still for 2 years in — 10 years ago
Delicious port wine! Merlot-based with chocolate infused. Smells and tastes like a tootsie roll! — 10 years ago
Very good, lots of flavor! Concord grape jelly!!! But, almost too sweet, (can't believe I said that! Didn't think anything could be too sweet.) — 10 years ago
Holy alcohol. First sip its maple syrup and bourbon. Second sip. Alcohol. — 11 years ago
Buttered popcorn on the nose. Green apple lots of citrus. With buttered popcorn jelly bellies on the palate. Once this opens up it had a nice brioche nose as well. Very nice acidity as well. — 12 years ago

Barolo and white truffle goes together like peanut butter and jelly. What a wine, so much dark fruit even at age ten. Still tightly wound I️t needed a good hour of decanting before some of the floral notes started to emerge with the usual tar and rose characteristics. This has a few decades left in I️t. If you are looking for top quality Barolo conterno francia is a great choice. — 8 years ago

Leo's Oyster Bar, beautiful, Kistler, lobster roll. Life is good! — 10 years ago

Wow! totally strange and delicious. My first valdiguie - carbonic on the nose, tastes like roses, fruit roll ups and cherry soda. Wish I'd bought more... — 11 years ago
Not as yummy as the 2007 — 13 years ago
Not bad. Light bodies, maroon translucency against light. Dried cherries with black pepper. Tannins roll off the tongue. Not bad. Would be great with a balsamic reduction sauce and steak. — 8 years ago
In today's Oasis of fine wine, this 1994 was Definitely Maybe a Rock 'n' Roll Star that was clearly made by a Shakermaker to Live Forever. Whether Up in the Sky or in Columbia, people will recognize this as a Supersonic wine, particularly for the otherwise difficult vintage where the rains did indeed Bring It on Down, driving winemakers to Cigarettes & Alcohol. The soft tannins would make for flexible pairing choices for Digsy's Dinner; this Mouton Rothschild could be Married with Children's chicken nuggets and be just great. — 8 years ago

Juicy and full of fruit — 8 years ago
Love Cab Franc as stand alone varietal. Mellow tannins, tootsie roll, caramel, malt chocolate. Black cherry. — 9 years ago

Sometimes that shark, he looks right into you. Right into your eyes. You know the thing about a shark, he's got...lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll's eye. When he comes at ya, doesn't seem to be livin'. Until he bites ya and those black eyes roll over white. And then, ah then you hear that terrible high pitch screamin' and the ocean turns red and spite of all the poundin' and the hollerin' they all come in and rip you to pieces.
Y'know by the end of that first dawn, lost a hundred men! I don't know how many sharks, maybe a thousand! I don't know how many men, they averaged six an hour. On Thursday mornin' chief, I bumped into a friend of mine, Herbie Robinson from Cleveland. Baseball player, boson's mate. I thought he was asleep, reached over to wake him up. Bobbed up and down in the water, just like a kinda top. Up ended. Well... he'd been bitten in half below the waist. Noon the fifth day, Mr. Hooper, a Lockheed Ventura saw us, he swung in low and he saw us. He's a young pilot, a lot younger than Mr. Hooper, anyway he saw us and come in low. And three hours later a big fat PBY comes down and start to pick us up. You know that was the time I was most frightened? Waitin' for my turn. I'll never put on a lifejacket again. So, eleven hundred men went in the water, three hundred and sixteen men come out, the sharks took the rest, June the 29, 1945. Anyway, we delivered the bomb. — 11 years ago

Another excellent Tobin James everyday wine. Aromas of fruit and berries, inky black, well balanced. Very nice — 7 years ago
