Superb balance. Elegance. Typical pheromonal depth and complexity. Fades early though. — 8 years ago
2012 wow. A big rich wine with plenty of earth and fruit and a touch of funk. Thought it would be lighter. But not complaining — 9 years ago
2009 vintage drunk in 2023. Delicious. But where did I get it? — 9 months ago
This is a simple but very tasty, sparkling wine from France.
Showing citrus, lemons, apples, pears, light tropical fruits, honey and light minerals.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity. Refreshing with small bubbles.
Dry to off dry on the palate and fruit forward.
Nicely balanced and easy drinking.
Good by itself and a good Sunday sparkle.
11.5% alcohol by volume.

Herby tasty very different from a lot of Beaujolais I’ve had. Nice body. — 4 years ago
About Beaujolais and Burgundy, The Wine Bible says “Even the spirit of each place is Singular. Beaujolais is fruit and joy; Burgundy is earth and solemnity.” #FunReadingTheWineBible. Floral, fruit and hints of spice on the nose. Fresh fruit taste; acidity a bit overpowering, but balances out with soft read fruits (strawberry?) — 7 years ago
Very good white. 90% Rosanne grapes from Rhone valley in southern France. One of the better whites I have had. Medium sweetness very good flavor Had at Armas weekend. — 8 years ago

🎂Birthday Wine 🍾🥂👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Best Champagne I’ve ever enjoyed!
“The Hype” is deserved! Believe the Winemaker, Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon-Chef de Cave of Louis Roederer since 1999 has said 2008 is his greatest Cristal to date! Seek out, cellar & consume all you can! Cheers, 🍾🥂 — 4 years ago
Very complex. Apricot shines through. Tastes of baked cake. Forward, but not too flowery. — 7 years ago
Oily and beautiful. Not brimming with acidity that will shoot to the stars, but it's softer palate feel is welcomed and very pleasant to sip on. — 7 years ago
2009. Some rich cherry liqueur from the vintage, some interesting cut grass notes in the palate along with big time fruit. Nose gives up a lot of leather--goes in different directions like Bordeaux or aged Portuguese reds with Touriga Nacional. Quite nice! — 8 years ago
Spsrking mineral taste green apple tart — 8 years ago
Reminds me of France. Of course. — 9 years ago
Date night with my wife, out in DC. This was delicious. Just the right combo of stony, gravelly and mulberry, fleshy. Dry and bracing on the palate. Better with as slightly log cooked rabbit ragu than with lamb merguez. — 10 years ago
