Slightly tart but enjoyable. — 10 years ago
Slight sweetness and not overpowering. Very smooth and easy to drink. Would be great on a hot day. — 10 years ago
Dark purple in the glass. Full nose of blueberry compote and dark ash. Echoed on the full-bodied palate with firm tannins. Still plenty of time left. — 10 years ago
Nearly opaque dark ruby color with kirsh, baked blueberry and blackberries, vanilla and a bit of eucalyptus, and leather aromas. On the palate it's big, broad and hedonistic with good acidity and a very supple texture it shows bright baked blueberry, vanilla, baked cherry flavors. Long finish! Damned tasty! — 10 years ago

Very pleasantly surprised. — 11 years ago
Wow In a flight of chateau montelena and caymus 85s this drop kicked them out of the room. Hints of Brett but adds to the complexity of black olive, camphor, Dried fruits and herbs. Patrick Campbell made so many great wines and does not get enough credit this wine sings, bravo. — 9 years ago
This wine made me smile with every single sip, unbelievably good. The bottle pours out a beet and blackberry color blood. It's nose is rich with dried black fruits, crushed plums, dark cherries, yeast and some floral aromatics. It's dominent in black cherry, blackberry and plum flavors. Notes of cracked black pepper and blueberries accompany its dominating flavors. It sits with a medium plus body. It's tannins are a perfect velvety medium grain, it's acidity is moderate, all of which settle with a long finish. I was completely suprised at how much I liked this as I'd usually pick Argentina as king for this grape, but bravo..I've found my new favorite Malbec. — 9 years ago
Big but such a nice balance of fruit, acid and astringency. This is a slow but smooth sipper for those contemplative nights. — 10 years ago
Bright bruised applesauce, honey, shooting stars of acidity through the palate. Sensual fun from a grape I don't order enough. #loire #cheninblanc — 10 years ago
It has finally come around. Beautifully integrated tannins and fruit. Plums and cherries. A Classic French Bordeaux by Christian Moueix bravo. This should be the wine standard. Drink now or in the next 5 years. — 10 years ago

CT gives it an 88, but it's a 90+ in my book! — 10 years ago
Simply perfect. Defies all attempts to break it down into component parts. Wow. Bravo, @Cathy Corison ! — 10 years ago
10 year Bordeaux...Bravo. The tannins have settled somewhat with the result being that this wine's structure, acidity, frame and finish are all in alignment. Rich dark fruits, cassis and Christmas cake. Such a joyfully smooth drop. — 10 years ago
Needed time to open up, but lovely Grenache. — 11 years ago
Very pale golden color with peach, apricot, spiced honey aromas. On the palate, it's creamy and ample and dryish with peach, apricot, honey and mineral flavors. Med finish. Fabulous with saffron rice tilapia! — 11 years ago
