Unbelievably soft on the pallet. Fruity, calm effervescence, could drink all day — 9 years ago
Pre-bond Tchelistcheff/Jarvis Cabernet Franc, subtle balanced funk/Bret/ no VA. Retained acidity and mellow tannin. 500ml. — 10 years ago
The last of the old Wente Selections at their Jarvis Vineyard. Chewy tannins, bristling acidity and still loads of fruit make this one I wish that I had aged another 10+ years. Very intense, with a strong underlayment of forest duff, leather and perhaps just a touch of barnyard/Brett character that evokes older Burgundies. Feels like drinking a slice of history. — 8 years ago
An atypical Chardonnay, soft but not buttery or creamy, full of dry honeydew melon and apricot flavors. We enjoyed it with sautéed kale and cherry-lime Rickey chicken with juniper, barley, and baby bok choy. — 9 years ago

2012 vintage - apricots, cherries, bit of creaminess — 9 years ago
This Pinot Noir is as full-bodied as a Merlot! It tastes of dark blueberries and a light amount of oak. This is a Pinot for people who don't like Pinot! — 9 years ago
