2013 vintage tasted Jan. 2018.
Lovely ruby violet color. Aromas are jumping out of the bottle immediately upon opening.
Nose is provocative and complex. Rich black and blue fruits with savory notes. Very fresh and pure. Would have pegged it as a new world wine if tasted blind.
Rich flavors, mouth coating, dry but gentle tannins. Really quite impressive and pleasurable. — 7 years ago
We have tasted many from this winery and this is still our favorite. Enjoyed with KB on Jan. 29, 2016. — 9 years ago
Wine was outstanding value for $10 for 1.5L at Sam's. Loaded up but it has disappeared from Sam's as of Jan 2015. Anyone know if restocked ? — 10 years ago

Recommendation by Delfshaven wineshop (Jan 2018). An Italian Sicilian Pinot Noir, higher up on the slopes of Mt. Etna, which brings a burnt wood/volcanic char taste. Pricey but interesting — 7 years ago

2005 DRC Grand Echezaux Burgundy. Drank at lunch w DS and Jan at The Ivy. This wine needed time and really came around and was much more complex and drank like we had hoped it would. Awesome. — 10 years ago

Jim Arterberry-Maresh is one of Oregon's most talented, young winemakers. His entry-level 2015 Pinot is anything but basic, delivering vibrant, mineral-laced red fruit and floral character, with striking clarity and balance. Sure, it'll age, but it's pretty gorgeous right now. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, Jan 2018) $25 — 7 years ago

Heard about Flavio Roddolo Nebbiolo's on the IDTT podcast with Jan D'Amore. This 2008 Nebbiolo D'Alba is so refreshing with some meaty flavors and dark red fruit aromas. Delicioso! Great value too. — 9 years ago

Served lightly chilled with salumi and grilled flatbread. Love this wine more every time I drink it. Very good. Fruity with enough tannin and acid to work perfectly with antipasti. Like as much as B. Mascarello and Brovia Dolcettos. Thanks @bevetroppo and Jan D'Amore. — 12 years ago

Disg Jan 2013. Lovely golden colour. Persistent fine bead. Full bodied fruity and a lovely nose. Long almost plum finish. Just delicious and getting better. — 7 years ago
