Upon uncorking the bottle, we felt it was the most structured and bold out of all the wines. Poured into the decanter and revisited after two hours. By then the nose had blossomed into seductive aromas of red cherries and earth, which made us all point to GC in the blind tasting. As the Mugnier developed over the course of the evening, this kept singing and staying linear as indicative of it's youth. Second favorite WOTN. — 8 years ago

Torn. Needed to pick up some wine from east bank but didn’t get it done this week. Do I not have wine with prime ribeye, or do I crack one of my favorites that I had hoped to keep for a bit longer... and, now I have one fewer. :) — 8 years ago
