A JK Carriere of momentous proportion, with a decidedly Burgundian sensibility, the 2004 Antoinette opens with expressive aromas of damp tilth, forest floor, roasted game, cranberry compote and rose hips. There is a wildness to this wine that is difficult to pinpoint, solitary treks through pristine forest in the Olympic Peninsula come to mind. The acid, the purity of fruit and absolute terroir shines through. Masculine yet elegant, it finishes with dried herbs, mint and pink peppercorn. — 11 years ago
Slightly spicy with a smooth finish. Overall delicious! — 10 years ago
Yep another one, apparently a cellar full of working for wine is up for drinking. The 2002, What can I say this split, was sound and solid. Great balance and elegance. Might have to open up a full bottle next time. Thanks Jim! — 10 years ago
In every sense of the word, this Blanc De Noir is beautiful. The labeling alone deserves an award! With Pinot Noir sourced from my favorite vineyard in the state (Temperance Hill), this is a complex, gorgeous, elegant, full bodied, fruit forward beauty with pin point bubbles from Heaven. Strawberries, raspberries, fresh baked bread. rich fruit upon entry follow through to the forever finish , seamlessly. Zippy, zesty acidity rounds out the fruit. Bubble Bliss!! — 11 years ago

Loved this wine for years
Surprised me with how nuanced it was so young.
More delicate than others years of La Carriere
Keep it to sipping occasions or with simple food, might otherwise get swamped — 10 years ago
Fresh strawberries, orange zest and warm baking spices. Beautiful texture. Dare I say my new fav Brut Rose in the WV... — 10 years ago

My favorite cider. A sweeter cider but well balanced and slightly spicy for an overall great flavor profile. Their Saskatoon cider is great if you are looking for something a little sweeter and more unusual. — 10 years ago
