1999 Hubert Lignier Clos de la Roche burgundy. Dinner at The G w J&L B and B&K K. Big wine dinner, starting with a 1958 Borgogno and followed by this wine. We decanted this immediately upon being seated and let it breathe for a good hour before pouring. Still huge and a little tight at first, but opened up pretty quickly in the glass. 2007 Mauro VS Vino de la Terra Tempranillo. Dinner at Ch Ven w J&L B and J&J D. Huge wine with tons of dark fruit- plum, blackberry- and even chocolate and leather. Really enjoyed. We all would have guessed it was a Cal Cab had we not known. — 9 years ago

Magnum 1985 Sassicaia. Drank at Factory Kitchen w A&C, J &J D, and DS. Large format was great for a large group. We really enjoyed this wine- it was as epic as we had hoped. Lush and fruitful and velvety. Great. — 10 years ago

qd malvedos is a sub vinery and allowed to make it's own vintage ports in years graham's doesn't declare.

Admittedly a weird pairing with roasted corn (is there a NOT weird wine pairing w/roasted corn?) but delightful. Very young, mildly bottle shocked but shows some serious aromatic exuberance. Fruity/floral, the wine has opened up over the course of the evening. — 11 years ago

We didn't decant this as it was a game-time decision to consume it, but it was still awesome! Definitely green, tight, and big when first poured, but opened up beautifully. 2007 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. HB w MnD and J&D B. We loved this wine wine so much at the Heart concert and we loved it tonight. Floral, along with notes of buttery brioche and oak. However, somewhat surprisingly, as we drank this in comp to the 2013 Ridge Monte Bello Chardonnay, it did not win out. Still such a great wine that we really, really enjoyed. — 9 years ago
