2008 vintage, Magnum. Theo Randall, Intercontinental Park Lane, London. Riesling-esque profile at first with ripe yellow fruit and a hint of petrol. Opened up and unvail, rich notes and a full-bodied character. Excellent! — 10 years ago

This was a gift from the staff of the Intercontinental New Orleans on the occasion of our honeymoon! We had it on the balcony of our room on Halloween night. Perfect. — 10 years ago
I only drink a zin or two a year, but cut my teeth on it in my early days. This vineyard is the pinnacle for this variety, producing an Intercontinental rendition year after year (since 1880). It's a cool climate relatively speaking, where you could grow almost every varietal and have it turn out elegant with good acids and low ph. This '12 Estate has it all and will age til the Diam wears out. — 10 years ago
