One of my best wines ever. 2009 vintage. April 2015 — 11 years ago
Really interesting Sangiovese and petit Verdot blend. The petit Verdot allows this wine to be ageable. It seems close to its prime. Nice bottle nose. Garnet color from the petit Verdot. The petit Verdot also adds an astringent finish which cleans the palate. — 11 years ago

2010 vintage. Very nice, fruit forward. Very generous ripe fruit. — 11 years ago
I've had 6 bottles of this. 1 was absurdly reduced, but was superb on the 3rd day. The other 5 were ethereal. Lasted for days, or sometimes, didn't last for an hour. Stunning example of what Sangiovese can be when its not over-cropped, over-ripe and over-oaked. I don't like most Sangiovese, it's no secret. Something about the creamy yogurt thing I get, and the opinion I have that Tuscany is the Napa of Italy. But this wine is real, raw, alive, unique. No oak. No additives. No bullshit. I love it. Umbrian Sangiovese fermented and aged in concrete. It changes and breathes. There's not much else like it. — 12 years ago

Probably a year or two behind its prime but still plenty to like about this Piedmontese blend. Good, forward fruit of the Pinot strikes an excellent partnership with the balance and depth of the Barbera. Let's be honest, Braida makes great wines; and this is no exception. — 11 years ago
