There is something about Beckstoffer Georges III vineyard Cabernets that I almost always love. Like this wine, they almost always have a beautiful combination of black cherry and blueberry fruit in abundance. Maybe not as serious and structured as a To Kalon or a Dr. Crane cab, but so pleasurable and makes me so happy! — 8 years ago
My first time trying this, and it is really terrific and a great value at the price point. Very full and complete on the palate. Lovely blueberry and blackberry fruit on the palate with a hint of baking spices and vanilla. I would definitely buy this again. Kudos @Anthony Biagi ! — 8 years ago
A salty, tart finish that sets it apart from a provençal counterpart. — 8 years ago
Doing a staycation at Marriott Newport Coast on this Valentines evening. Sharing this and 2013 World's End Beckstoffer George's III. Nice bet not great. — 9 years ago
More fruity and similar to Howell Mountain- this one could age well. January 2017. — 9 years ago
Focused, sharp, and refreshing, this Pinot Blanc is great. 2013 vintage. — 10 years ago
Not great at first, tight....open for 2 hours, completely different, fantastic — 10 years ago
Great body. Plum and rhubarb notes with softer tannins. — 11 years ago
100 percent Syrah from Red Mountain. Delicious, light to medium bodied. Apparently hard to get distributed, but worth it! — 12 years ago
This is great! Thanks @Rob Brobst III for the lesson on the shy girl! 😂 — 8 years ago
135. Smells nice too. Also smooth and balanced. No sourness in this one like Chimney Rock. But I said both are good. First sample of this I rated it a 9.0. But once I had the Old Acre and came back to this I thought this was even better than OA. I thought it was even smoother than it. This was the winner in the tasting today. — 9 years ago
Not too sweet for an extra brut! — 9 years ago

W.S. Grand Tour Vegas: Deep, rich dark berry fruit with nicely integrated oak. Smooth, lingering finish. Excellent. — 7 years ago
10' Fairchild GIII . The 2010 bottle without a doubt has gotten so much better in the last two years!
Full-bodied, somewhat of a bruiser right out of the bottle ( green olives). A hour decanting & the tannins/acidity have softened up. Nose- Expressive flowers, sweet black cherry, spices. Color Deep purple. Palate- Dense , black fruits( Blackberry) spices, creamy oak. A well polished wine.
Fairchild & Schrader are the best stuff coming out of GIII ? IMO I have not had the Sarah Francis G III.
Certain parts of this vineyard are sensational. Drink/ Hold. I'd be curious to see how this develops in the next 2/3 years.

Bloody good. It had to be as it cost the price of a small duchy.
I have a whole bottle of this greatness with me. Not a good idea.
Taste is sort of dry, not sweet and not bitter...all in equal mix. Taste of lots of stuff. It's been through different cask apparently. Bourbon, Madeira, Port...
Lovely aroma. Doesn't come to hit you right back. — 9 years ago
