Se avessi avuto 1000 stelle le avrei usate tutte ! in assoluto il miglior vinsanto mai bevuto. un colore ambra bellissimo, profumo intenso incredibile, limpido, trasparente e brillante. una bocca dove freschezza e morbidezza sono perfettamente equilibrate. l'entrata è una carezza morbida e l'uscita e di una pulizia unica con una persistenza lunghissima. miele vaniglia nocciole....sono pochi i vini dolci a questo livello ! — 9 years ago
Woah!! Hold up. Briny, sweaty, leesy, metallic, concrete laden, pure grape juice. I have to apologize to the Bay Area for drinking 50% of the only sample bottle I got of this lovely Trebbiano. Zero additive, niente chimica, senza solfiti, funky, natty, super delicious wine -day three showing strong- no VA no EA, same oxidative nose as when it was uncorked, which was fresh as lemon rainwater on hot concrete. I want to drink much more from this producer, and I am not biased, even though I am fortunate enough to sell it in Cali! The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is out of this world, truly one of the most unique I've ever tasted. If you see it, don't hesitate to expand your mind and liver on it. — 10 years ago

Having purchased several bottles, I wanted to give this a test run. Let it decant for two hours and indeed, she rewarded me. A huge nose of dried red flowers, violets, cranberry, cherry, a hint of earth and tar. Drinking fairly well now but she needs to lay for a few years to fully reward you. Good nerello with minimal oak. Needs lots of time to show itself, oddly, then iron and the volcanic minerals show. Definitely lighter than most which I appreciate. — 8 years ago
It was hot as balls in my house. I pulled this rose out of my fridge and knocked it back fast. In that situation it tasted amazing. I didn't give it a ten, because of the desperate straits I was in when I drank it. I'll do more research and report back. Sometimes I think when and where you drink something has as much to do with the taste as anything. — 9 years ago

I've seen bad reviews from people on this wine but I quite enjoyed it. Slight skin contact and time in barrel. There version of a white burgundy is what Ciro said. I work mainly with Italian wine and for me this was quite separate from the rest of Italy in a really good way. I felt the wine to be unique and complex and highly recommend it. — 10 years ago

At first it smelled like I was pouring black table pepper so I let it open up. Once it did there were aromas of red currant, black cherries and a dusting of cinnamon. Palate just as intense with same flavors but also with black coffee. Big, mouth-drying tannin finishes it off along with black cherries and spicy heat.
