Very crisp for a Merlot. — 11 years ago
Sourced from outlook vineyard in the Yakima Valley, fermented 9 months in a 1000 liter French oak cask, indigenous yeast, blah-blah-blah. Imagine a trocken Auslese that tastes of stone fruits, rich texture. 90 cases made. — 12 years ago
Maple and amaretto on the nose, blackberry, med tannin, rather fruit forward, but quite nice — 12 years ago

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. This wine was a bit mysterious in the glass. I ordered it at dinner by the glass and didn't know much about it until I got home and looked it up. I would have sworn this was a Syrah based blend with some dark black fruit with coffee and black olive notes and had a fairly polished tannin structure to go along with a medium full bodied wine that I found very enjoyable. Definitely would buy again. — 10 years ago

Smells like an oatmeal cookie, crayon wax, sage and oregano and vanilla wafers. As for fruit...it's black cherry and plum. In the palate...all kindsa black olive, . $15 / 88pts — 12 years ago
