On the nose it has delicate floral notes of violet and rose hips with a bit of blackberry. The taste is a real ride as you let it breath. Full of hyacinth, bacon and dried black currant. On the back end, subtle tea leave notes, boysenberry and just a hint of pepper to keep the fun going!

A hint of petrol on the nose with hyacinth flowers. Dried apricots, and orange cream on the palate. Richer than 2010, but nicely balanced. — 10 years ago
Fragrant, delicious! Wild blue hyacinth and strawberry jam. Notes kept changing. Well balanced too — 12 years ago

Wow! Beautiful fruits like honeydew and ripe cantaloupe with a touch of white hyacinth, a memory of jasmine, and as pleasing as fresh sheets right after a shower. This brings a good weight and softer acidity, and a bit of residual sugar that brings out delicate lemon and kumquat zest. This wine realizes that less is more, and chooses to charm rather than dazzle with some other Riesling's tricks. Certainly worth a try. — 12 years ago
