Brimming with white and black pepper, black fruits and subtle oak. In a good drinking window now. — 6 years ago
No oak. What the fuck?! Waxy, oaky (if possible), almost nutty. Sublime. — 7 years ago

Brambly red berry fruits. High acid and untamed, a wild expression of #pinotnoir #nzwine — 8 years ago
新西兰的黑皮诺!芬芳的花香果香,入口有奶油气味!由此判断一定用的是法国新橡木桶。2012年习大大访新西兰,国宴用酒之一。和剑道馆的大家吃潮汕牛肉,很清新。 — 9 years ago
Rich, oily & vegetal. Yum! #PyramidValleyVineyard #Semillon #Biodynamic #NZwines — 9 years ago
Beautiful bold wine from north otago. It has the raw power of limestone combined with hints of raspberry and plum. Powerful aroma. Pick a meat that can stand up to the wine. It almost tastes like a Rhone blend in my opinion. — 9 years ago
Lovely, easy going white. Drank on a hot day and it slipped down a little too easy. — 3 years ago
Very surprised when I opened the wine list. My inner geek took over when I saw it was the same wine I consumed last week but a different vintage. A much less open and complex nose than the’11.
In the mouth this wine demonstrated greater freshness than the ‘11. Grapefruit like acidity put the fruit flavors at the forefront. Once again I was a little disappointed with the finish but I think in this case the wine truly needs time to unwind. — 6 years ago

A dry white wine with elegant minerality, plus some saline. Notes of green apple, melon, and lime. Crisp, with mouthwatering acidity. — 8 years ago

Light, crisp. — 12 years ago
For the money this is a gem, little sweet lacking some acidity but on a hot day I’d gladly drink this. — 6 years ago
Outstanding mid aged Hunter Semillon. Extremes fresh, crisp and very, very good. Great life. - Phil Laffer — 8 years ago
