A great wine should have a great story and "The Black Chicken" has both. Superb Zin, one of the top Bottlings of Zin in America. — 11 years ago
Love this Zin. One of the first wines I've ever had so it will always be on top of my favs list — 11 years ago
Wow! Frank Family is always consistent. This Zin has nice fruit, it's well balanced and the right amount of tannins. — 11 years ago

Rhone garrigue + California fruit = Rigde zin. Ching took the trip to Little Star as a throwing down of the gauntlet and pulled out the semolina flour and cornmeal for a deep dish pie. She even managed to acquire some little gems for salad. Ridge provided the finishing touch. — 11 years ago

Absolutely love this Zin. Dark fruit followed by an earthy must. Smooth and balanced on the palate. Right up there with the 2011 Geyserville from Ridge, which was similarly excellent. I think both of these Re better than 2011 Ridge from Lytton Springs. — 12 years ago

I absolutely love this fresh and citric wine. There are elements of pineapple or passion fruit with no hint of floral notes making it a delicious and crisp white wine. — 11 years ago
