Delicious and crisp wine, with slight berry note, but still quite dry and smooth. Great feature at total wine in VA — 8 years ago
Champagne on Ice 🤔 Does this £47 idea work? Oh yes 😍 This is dangerous in sun & goes down too easy - like a bubbly G&T - marvellous 👏
🍷 Light straw

Great taste for a reasonably priced wine — 9 years ago
Stayed in the hole completely for the first hour. The second was fuller with more fruit on the mid but not all the way relaxed. Too young? Or drunk too quickly? — 9 years ago

I've never had mead before, as I usually don't care for white wines unless I'm cooking with them. But I came across this gem, and I found myself unable to put it down. It provides an opulent honey flavor that isn't uncomfortably sweet. It accents most flavorful stir-fries, such as Chinese or Thai, and can even be enjoyed without being accompanied by any foods at all. I intend to have a case of this in stock at all times, and I recommend this to any red or white wine lover. — 11 years ago
😇 I looked up to the sky & the Purple Angel came down upon me filling my glass with light blocking purple ruby rain that oozed aromas of black & blue berries w/ thick chocolate, vanilla, dates, heavenly minerals & smokey oak - “drink this godly juice” she said in a booming voice🍷
I dared embrace the heavenly nectar & succumbed to a full on palate explosion of ripe dark concentrated blackcurrant/berry bathed in raspberry cocoa and minerals💥
My mouth was left open in awe as my purple stained teeth yielded to the long silky fruit loaded intense finish & I myself turned into a naughty purple devil - spank me angel, spank me 😈
🎵 “And through it all she offers me protection l, A lot of love and affection” you’re gonna be singing this all day now 🤣 “And down the waterfall wherever it may take me .. “

When you have to travel on a Sunday, and that Sunday happens to be Mother's Day, you're not exactly psyched. This little oasis in the Delta Sky Club afforded me the opportunity to smile. Not a bad pour, regardless of the price. Typical Lynch-Bages cigar tobacco and leather with some luscious and velvety black fruit. Finished a little flat, most likely due to being open for a while in the fancy automated pour gizmo. But still smiling! — 8 years ago

A wall of cedar coated in turbinado crystals, sweet tea, vanilla mist, wintergreen and wildflower honey up the two-hole. Really a gorgeous array. Orange blossom honey, pine nut, rock candy, lemongrass, cocoanut, cocoa powder, soft vanilla, sweet tobacco, coffee candy, brickle notes, squash blossom, poppy flower, and the worlds most perfect raisin. As delightfully indulgent as drifting carelessly down a clean river in spring and being enveloped in an endless array of budding flora! — 9 years ago
Let me be up front, I like you. Okay? I know we just meet and all, but you, you send me to that place, that unidentifiable, that hole, that flushing of the skin, that unknown; pleasure. I know, I know, I know. You are thinking it's just your looks. It's just your perfume. It's aesthetic. It's lust. It's fleeting,. Momentary. A pathetic attempt,. An act of desperation. Let me say, in my defense: I'm not smitten easy. I'm tough, cynical. All brick and mortar. Hard edges and despair. But you, you are the real thing, my dear. I'm sure of it. Just one touch and I'm done, love at first blush. You can do what you like. Go join the rest of the party. But I want you to know: your taste well be on my tongue, your full unbridled attention will be mine, before this night is over. I love you. — 9 years ago
Tip top quality. Dark and dirty tones on the nose lead to an eyeopening showcase of depth of flavor carried with such grace and softness. Pure artistry and craftmanship. Homerun, slamdunk, hole in one. — 10 years ago

A bit on the quirky side. I really have no idea where this wine is in the spectrum of things. It definitely isn't done, but it has a big hole in the middle. The nose is fruitcake and cola. The entry is pretty big and rounded. Powerful fruit. At first the middle was dead, but after 30 minutes it really started to come around and showed some cinnamon, spice, nutmeg. The finish became a little more acidic. Slight toasted tannin finish. Really impressed. I have stayed away from opening these mainly because I thought they were all dead, but curiosity killed the fat cat and the result was MUCH better than expected. — 7 years ago
This is very light. I’m blinded in a Manfred Mann kinda way. Subdued. This could become a true love affair based on respect, admiration and tasty tannins. — 8 years ago
We had a bit of a debate on rating this one. It's terrific - so far above most wines - with amazing arimas of blackberries, kirsch, and a trace of iodine. The wine has a bit of a hole in the mid-palate - not sure where that's coming from - but otherwise it's fantastic with an evolving, pretty much seamless finish. Will probably continue to develop for a few more years...but why wait? — 8 years ago
Golden honey rising up into the sky of my palate. It's a 2014 but tastes more mature - as if it's been travelling for a long time, in a good. — 8 years ago
Very drinkable table wine pretty smooth for a medium body. Enjoy that White Cliff Vineyards in the Hudson region with my travel compoñera — 9 years ago

Delicious Chardonnay we had at Lotus Pad in Big Sky, MT. Gore great with Thai food. — 9 years ago
The nose made me smile. This wine is floral reminds me of a spring day when all of flowers are in bloom and the sky is filled with wonder. I enjoy Torrentes but this one has to be one of my favorites until I taste another that evokes the same sensation. — 10 years ago
A black hole. Classic nose of cedar, currants and cigar box. Medium body in the mouth with dark fruit, minerals and a wall of tannin. The eternal question of who will win, fruit or tannin. — 10 years ago

This wine had really good black cherry aromatics along with a bit of a savory character. The entry of this wine is medium-bodied at best, and then it sort of descends into a hole in the middle. Makes a nice comeback in the finish, with some mint and black cherry. Very stiff youthful oak tannin finish. This seems to be a producer that sided on the Traditionalist side in the Barolo wars, and this is the side I typically prefer. However, this one just didn't have the complexity, no fault of its own. Will be a monster in 10 years. — 6 years ago
