Liquid honey, white flowers, jasmine & joy in a glass @Maggie Hoffman — 10 years ago
Dark red fruit, slightly herbal and a touch of coffee on the finish. The winemaker has a Jack Lemmon meets Dustin Hoffman charm in a Paul Newman sort of way. — 11 years ago
Flat cherry cola. Btw I've completely given up on notes and am back to just having fun. Can do it with gun to head but it's like lifting luggage up the stairs in your brain (Philip Seymour Hoffman on acting). — 12 years ago
This is a partnership with Adrian Hoffman. This wine creates a body glow like I've not experienced. The mouth entry just is an OMG long moment. The lush fruits explode and layer over your palate. Ripe, lush, fruits of; blueberries, turning dark cassis, black plum, blackberries, warm soft spices; Clove, nutmeg, cinnamon & hints of vanilla, light baking spices, black tea, plum cake, light tarry notes. Then, the lighter red fruits unfold as it sits on the palate. Perfect wine harmony!!! 4 years in oak. — 8 years ago

So... Here I am at Jaime's wedding rehearsal in Queens.... Italian place off Woodhaven... 20 year old Amarone and at least 5-years past it's prime... Good, but showing signs of deterioration. Cherry, cedar, fruit, light tannins, nice finish... Carmine's wife tastes prunes and smells grappa.... Who knows, she thinks I look like Phillip Seymour Hoffman in my scarf... In my defense, I get to break out the scarf once a year in Boca... I've certainly had better Amarones... — 11 years ago
One of our favorites in a mid-range price. — 12 years ago
Thank you for sharing this delightful Sauvignon Blanc with me @Grace Hoffman I love the acidity. Wish I had a huge salad or a nice cut of salmon right now.... beautifully tropical. — 8 years ago
Monty brought. Very smooth, nice — 9 years ago
I had the blanc de blanc. Very pleasing freshness and persistence. This is seriously well made and refined. A worthy contender in the burgeoning English sparkling wine scene. — 9 years ago
Lots of dried herb notes, this wine is passed its prime, but compelling nonetheless, fun birth year wine exercise. — 9 years ago
2010. Enjoyed with my good friend Geoff Hoffman. Nice on the palate. — 10 years ago
Sami-Odi Hoffman (grower) Ukaipo+Dallwitz (vineyards) Shiraz from Ebenezer sub-region (Barossa Valley, South Australia). Expressive, dense. Takes a while to settle. Big, yet lithe. Impressive — 10 years ago
...almost black in color and rich in taste with spicy fruit and violet notes enhanced by cedary oak character. Aged 15 months in French oak. — 11 years ago
Really showing nicely no oxidation, very delicate, fined, fruit fading but still hanging in there. — 12 years ago

The Hoffman was nearly the wine of the tasting. Warm fruits; of blue & blackberries slowly lift out of the glass with supple soft spices. It was a hard call to say, was it warm fruit pie or was it more like pudding? I'd say both. The spices in this wine lifted off your palate like warm sun on ground water creating rising steam. You cannot only sense it, you can see them as you sip it. Blackberries, blueberries, black plum, rhubarb, baked cranberries & strawberries follow, black licorice, used leather, dry stems, underbrush, crushed rocks, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, Christmas cake and used coffee grounds. Perfect harmony in body, texture. length, balance, acidity and finish. 5 years in oak. — 8 years ago
