Can't believe I've held on to this treasure for so long! Cedar and sandalwood on the nose. Silky with a bright and savory--almost vegetal--finish. Perfect with filet and steak-house style garlicky creamed spinach. These grapes were picked when I was still in high school! — 9 years ago

Absolutely amazing. Lots of good brett. Balanced and delicious. Great dark fruit aromas and flavors. So smooth. Medium high tannins and acidity. Perfect silky texture. A little funk on the nose and palate (positive). Aroma and flavors are out of this world. Leather bag full of cherries and raspberries. Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carmenere. Complex. Fantastic! High tannins and with a nose full of full bodied dark fruit take a sip and you will taste the black current, dark cherries, and raspberries, and with the scent on the nose the taste will be amplified. Amazing bottle. Great with company and food. — 11 years ago

Another wine courtesy of my Dad as a birthday gift when I was a child. It's not far from going over the hill, but it was hanging on. Dried strawberry and dried cherry, subtle leather, acidity was almost too high, but not unpleasant. Overall enjoyable but I certainly did not enjoy it in its prime, unfortunately. — 11 years ago

Had over the course of a couple of nights. First night was a classic Chinon on the nose and palate, although a little lighter bodied than many other Olgas I have had. Good spice on the palate and barnyard on the nose. Second night the nose was similar but the palate mellowed. A solid Chinon but not the best I've had.
